WEEK ONE: TIME

(You have this week to complete this challenge. A new challenge will be issued Monday, Feb. 27th)

If there is one thing that we all have the exact same amount of, it’s time. Even though the seconds, minutes and hours of each day are in our hands, it’s important to remember that they are actually gifts given to us from God. How we use those gifts are very important.

Has anyone ever told you “don’t waste your time”? This is because time is a valuable resource.

Psalm 39: 4-5 says, “Lord, remind me how brief my time on the earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered-how fleeting my life is.” 
We can be OPEN with the valuable time God has given us by giving it to and investing it in other people. By doing this we not only help those people see God’s generosity through us but we also invest in the building up of His Kingdom.

Dear God, I know the time I have is a valuable gift from you. Thank you for generously giving me the time that I have. Sometimes my life gets busy and I selfishly use my  time for my own purposes. Please help me to continue to see my time as a gift from you and to be OPEN with it to help build your Kingdom. Please walk with me and teach me more about your generosity as I complete this challenge.
