Local Missions is a week long event where Jr. and Sr. High students go into the community and meet the needs of others. Our purpose is to complete physical projects for those who do not have the abilities to do so on their own. Whether that’d be because they don’t have the funds or the personal. Through these acts of kindness we want to show the Love of Jesus to everyone we encounter.
The theme this year is “Be a part of something BIGGER”
For some of us our summers insist of us lounging around the house, watching shows, playing games, and making up sleep for all those hours lost during the school year. This summer, why don’t you come and be a part of something BIGGER. In Ephesians 5:15-16 it says, “Be very careful, then, how you live- not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity.” Let’s not let our summer drift away. Go make an impact in your community!
Be a part of something BIGGER this summer and serve with Highway 111’s Local Missions.
